SUDIP AHLUWALIA, J. (ORAL) The instant Petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking Regular Bail on behalf of the Petitioner in case FIR No.206, dated 26.10.2016, registered under Sections 379-B, 472, 511 IPC of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar.

The petitioner was originally granted bail in this case, but he subsequently absented from the proceedings, on account of which coercive processes were issued against him.

The petitioner's submission in this regard is that he had been detained in connection with another case being FIR No.81 dated 01.10.2015 registered under Sections 399, 402 IPC at Police Station Kabirpur, Kapurthala, on account of which he could not appear on the designated date in the trial Court.

The petitioner was subsequently arrested in connection with another case and was thereafter produced before the trial Court in the RAJEEV THAKRAL 2020.10.27 04:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Considering the long detention undergone by the petitioner following his re-production/re-arrest in the learned trial Court, at this stage, he is ordered to be released on regular bail to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/Duty Magistrate, concerned, subject to imposition of appropriately stringent terms and conditions, which are left with the discretion of the said Court.
