(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and not to harass them at the instance of respondents No. 3 to 6. The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents. They are stated to be major. In support of her proof of age petitioner No.1 has placed on record photocopy of her Matriculation Examination Certificate(Annexure P-1) wherein her date of birth is mentioned as 22.04.1995 and petitioner No.2 has placed on record photocopy of his Adhaar Card(Annexure P-2) depicting his year of birth as 1993. They have also moved a representation (Annexure P-5) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Ludhiana for protection of their life and liberty.
