(Oral) The petitioner seeks the grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing FIR No.191 dated 26.11.2016 under Sections 399, 402 IPC and Sections 25, 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Sadar Jagraon, Ludhiana (Rural), District Ludhiana (Challan prepared under Sections 399, 402 IPC red with Sections 25/27/29-54-59 Arms Act).

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 12.07.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Nirmal Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 12.07.2022 and is not required for custodial interrogation. In this view of the matter, interim order dated 12.07.2022 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition stands disposed of.
