**** JITENDRA CHAUHAN, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through video-conferencing in the light of the pandemic COVID-19 situation and as per instructions. This Contempt petition under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 has been filed for punishing the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 20.01.2020 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court in CWP-3815-2015.
Learned State counsel has circulated a copy of order dated 21.09.2020 in vernacular passed by the Office of Director, Agriculture & Farmer Welfare Department, State of Punjab, which is taken on record as Mark 'A'. As per the order dated 23.09.2020, the petitioners stand promoted and the case of the petitioners for pensionary benefits stands recommended to the Finance Department.
Learned State counsel further submits that necessary payment shall be released within eight weeks from today. Disposed of accordingly.
