The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 seeking direction to official respondent(s) to conduct fair investigation in FIR No. 342 dated 16.07.2022 under Sections 387, 506 IPC registered at Police Station Mahesh Nagar, Ambala. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the official respondents be directed to conclude the investigation in the aforesaid FIR in a time bound manner.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Ankita Ahuja, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.
