Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the State as well as the learned counsel for the informant Sarika Verma submit that though the petitioner has joined the investigation and also produced ornaments, but that same were not accepted by the informant. During the course of arguments it was also brought to the notice that `1,56,700/- were transferred in the bank account of the petitioner side by the informant side.

The informant is present in Court. After taking MEENU 2015.02.10 10:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

CRM-M-40936-2014 (O&M) -2instructions from her, learned counsel for the informant, Mr.Anuj Balian, Advocate, submits that she is ready to accept `6,60,000/- (Rupees six lacs and sixty thousand only) in lieu of the ornaments and the alleged cash amount transferred in the account of the petitioner side. It has also been stated at Bar by the learned counsel for the informant that no claim with regard to the ornaments and the cash amount deposited would be made in further proceedings.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that within 15 days from today, a bank draft amounting to `6,60,000/- (Rupees six lacs and sixty thousand only) in the name of the informant, Sarika Verma, shall be handed over to Mr.Anuj Balian, Advocate for the informant-Sarika Verma against a receipt.

In view of the above, interim directions issued vide order, dated 19.12.2014 are made absolute.

The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
