The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.210 dated 16.10.2014 registered for the offences under Sections 489-A, 489-B and 489-C IPC at Police Station Maqsudan, District Jalandhar.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per the impugned order the petitioner absented from the Court proceedings without intimation on 2.7.2016. Then he filed the anticipatory bail application before the Court of Session which was also dismissed vide order dated 15.10.2016. The present petitioner after absenting from the Court proceedings and also when his anticipatory bail application has been dismissed on 15.10.2016 by the learned Judge, Special Jalandhar kept silent. No explanation has been given and now after a gap of Harpal Singh Parmar 2017.02.15 17:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-4089 of 2017 [2] about more than 31⁄2 months, this bail petition has been filed before this Court, without making any attempt to surrender before the trial Court. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances, I do not find it a fit case where the present petitioner is entitled to the benefit of anticipatory bail.

Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
