The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of result of draw of lots dated 05.12.2023 (Annexure P-6) whereby respondent No. 4 has been declared as eligible candidate.

On 02.05.2024, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent-HPCL has accepted lease-deed executed by one owner and another owner had signed as witness. The signature by second owner as witness does not amount to compliance of conditions of brochure.

Mr. Ashish Kapoor, Advocate submits that HPCL is accepting lease-deed which is executed by one PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2024.05.17 02:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.10033 of 2024 -2out of two or more owners provided it is signed as witness by other co-owners.

Mr. Ashish Kapoor, Advocate is hereby directed to file an affidavit of official concerned in support of his aforesaid averment.

Mr. Ashish Kapoor, Advocate submits that complaints of the petitioners were dismissed on the ground of limitation and respondentHPCL, at this stage, has decided to re-consider their complaints and pass an appropriate order on merits.

In the wake of statement of Mr. Ashish Kapoor, Advocate, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-HPCL to consider grievance of the petitioners in the light of terms and conditions of the Brochure/Policy.
