**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 88 dated 22.9.2017, registered under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, Police Station Women Cell, Ludhiana. Counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order dated 01.11.2017, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. State counsel states that the petitioner has joined the investigation. He further states that an enquiry was held by AIG, Crime and the petitioner has been declared innocent and they would be filing a cancellation report.

Looking to the circumstances, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and order dated 1.11.2017 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute subject to the GURPREET SINGH 2018.10.10 11:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
