(Oral) It is stated that petitioner Yadwinder Singh and respondent No.3- Ramandeep Kaur had married against the wishes of family members of Ramandeep Kaur and they had filed a petition in this Court seeking protection also. At that time, Ramandeep Kaur was aged less than 18 years. However, as stated, the couple is residing happily and having blessed with a son, cancellation of the FIR lodged by father of Ramandeep Kaur is being sought. A perusal of interim order, goes to show that on 28.11.2016, it was directed that proceedings pending under the FIR would remain stayed till the next date of hearing. Notice of the present petition was given to the respondent complainant, impleaded as respondent No.2Waryam Singh, but he has not turned up. CRM-M- 41825 of 2016 -2The present petition is disposed of directing the State counsel to look into the possibility of preparing a cancellation report in the matter, keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and then file it in the Court, preferably within a period of two months from today.
