On the asking of court, Mr. Nikhil Chopra, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondent(s). Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners shall be satisfied if a decision is taken on the legal notice dated 15.01.2019 (Annexure P-2) served by them.

Learned State counsel at the outset submits that competent authority shall examine the legal notice and decision shall be taken thereon within two months from today. However, in case it finds that claim of the petitioners is not admissible, a speaking order shall be passed and conveyed to them. In view of above, no further direction is necessary. Disposed of.
