ARUN PALLI, J (Oral) The petitioner has prayed for the following substantive relief: "Civil Writ Petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India for issuing a writ in the nature of mandamus for issuing direction to respondents to refund/release the amount of Rs.98,100/- along with interest deposited by the petitioner at the time of allotment of EWS flat which was duly surrendered by the petitioner in the light of the representation dated 03.04.2017 and legal notice dated 29.02.2024 (Annexure P-3 & P-12)."

Upon being served with an advance copy of the petition, Mr.Deepak Sabherwal, Advocate, is present in Court. He submits that the respondent authorities shall refund the entire amount deposited by the petitioner along with admissible interest thereon, in terms of Housing Board Haryana (Allotment Management & Sales of Tenements) Regulations, 1972, within a period of two weeks from today.

That being so, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let this petition be disposed of in terms of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents.
