MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to hold an independent fact finding enquiry. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a complaint was given on 15.04.2024 (Annexure P-3) to the police authorities, however, it had failed to yield any response. It has been submitted that the official respondents were under a legal obligation to pass an appropriate order on his complaint. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to look into the complaint dated 15.04.2024 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

However, if respondent No.2 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the complaint dated 15.04.2024 (Annexure P-3), then the petitioner shall be duly informed as per the parameters laid down by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v.
