The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.30 dated 21.03.2011, under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Division No.4, District Ludhiana (Anexure P-1) as well as for setting aside the order dated 27.11.2015, passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ludhiana (Annexure P-2), whereby, the petitioner was convicted and sentenced; on the basis of compromise deed dated 30.12.2016 (Annexure P-3), executed between the parties.

Learned State counsel has informed that the petitioner has already been acquitted by the Appellate Court vide order dated 05.09.2019, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana in Criminal Appeal No.140 dated 10.12.2015, CIS No. CRA-848-2015, CNR No. PBLD01-021238-2015. 3.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
