Quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise has been prayed for. It appears that the FIR has been registered only on 23.10.2015.

Notice of motion to Advocate General, Punjab. On asking of the Court, notice has been accepted by Ms.Harpreet Kaur Athwal, DAG., Punjab, present in the Court. Copy given.

This petition is disposed of with a direction that the Investigating Officer shall record the supplementary statement of complainant Manpreet Kaur within a period of two months and shall on the basis of supplementary statement form an opinion whether the circumstances warrant filing of cancellation/untraced report. In case cancellation/untraced report is filed, the trial Court may on the basis of no objection having been rendered by the complainant accept the cancellation report.
