RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to pandemic Covid-19.

Through this writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to release retiral benefits of the petitioner including gratuity, pension, commutation of pension, leave encashment and group insurance scheme etc. along with interest from the date same became due.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.3 - Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, is directed to look into legal notice (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner.
