This petition has been filed under Sections 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.56 dated 3.7.2014 registered under Sections 323,324,506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Bholath, District Kapurthala, on the basis of compromise, along with all consequential proceedings arising there from. 2.
In compliance with order dated 2.12.2014, statements of parties were recorded by the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kapurthala and it was observed by the Magistrate while sending the report that compromise was reached between the parties without any coercion. Mention is made of another criminal case lodged against Surinder Kumar, Dalip Chand, Lalit Kumar, Kewal Kishan, Roop Rani, Surjit Kumari, Sudesh Kumari and Kamlesh Kumari on the complaint of Rakesh Aggarwal, SSP, Kapurthala. It is submitted that the trial in the said case is going on but that case has no connection with the compromise in the present matter. Counsel for the parties have stated at bar that the matter has been compromised.

So, in view of the above circumstances and in view of authority reported as Kulwinder Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the above said FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings in pursuant to that FIR also stand quashed.
