(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his daughter was married to Gurpreet Singh-respondent No.4 in the year 2019 and that she is however, forcibly kept in her matrimonial home and is being treated like a servant and is not even allowed to meet the petitioner and that it has been more than 1 year and 6 months since he had met her daughter. Learned counsel submits that although he had submitted a representation dated 10.6.2021 to Senior Superintendent of Police, District Amritsar Rural (Annexure P-2) but to no avail.

- 2 - CRWP-6077-2021 (O&M) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Amritsar Rural, to get the representation dated 10.6.2021 (Annexure P-2) examined and to take necessary action as may be warranted in the facts and circumstances of the case which are found to be ascertained.

A copy of this order be conveyed to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Amritsar Rural along with representation Annexure P-2 for necessary compliance.
