**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 186, dated 09.07.2014, under Sections 15, 25, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar.

The allegations against the petitioner are that 1435 Kgs of poppy husk was recovered from the petitioner and other accused. Learned State counsel upon instructions from ASI Surjit Singh states that the petitioner is involved in 13 other cases and 02 out of 16 prosecution witnesses have been examined and the matter has now been listed on 23.09.2019 for examination of the remaining witnesses. He also states that every effort shall be made to produce the remaining witnesses on the next date and expedite the trial. In view of the statement of learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she does not press this petition at this stage.
