As per allegations petitioner alongwith his non-applicant co-accused brother had exchanged their land with the complainant party and inspite of the exchange they proceeded to sell four bighas of land to one Beant Kaur and thus are alleged to have cheated the complainant party.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that vide order of even date passed in CRM-M 9113/ 2016 the FIR in question stands quashed on the basis of compromise effected between the parties and as such the present bail application has become infructuous.
