***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Today, at the very outset, the learned counsel for the appellant submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present appeal with liberty to surrender before the Trial Court and to apply for grant of regular bail and to raise all the pleas as have been raised herein including his plea to the effect that the objectionable words were never allegedly uttered with the knowledge that the complainant belongs to SC/ST caste and infact even the complainant has not stated that he belongs to any such caste. ( 2 ) CRA-S-944-2022 (O&M) However, in case the appellant surrenders before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from today and applies for grant of regular bail in the forenoon of the day, the learned trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the same expeditiously preferably on the day of filing of such application while duly noticing all the contentions as may be raised by learned counsel and while also keeping in view the fact that it is not a case where any recovery is required to be made.
