Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6.

Even on the second call, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 02.12.2014:- "Notice of motion for 09.03.2015.

In the meantime, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach respondent No. 2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, for protection, as per the instructions dated 10.08.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab, who will look into their representation dated 01.12.2014." As per the report submitted by Commissioner of Police, Amritsar City, petitioners had made statement that they did not want to take any type of security.
