(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 447 dated 13.08.2017 under Sections 323/34/406/498-A/506 IPC, registered at Police Station S.G.M. Nagar (Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Nagar), District Faridabad, Haryana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the matter was referred for mediation and conciliation Centre of this Court to explore the possibility of amicable settlement between the parties. The mediation is successful. The parties have settled their dispute amicably by way of agreement/settlement dated 07.02.2018, in which the parties have decided to part ways while also agreeing that a sum of Rs. 15,00,000/- would be paid by the petitioner to respondent No.2 as full and final settlement towards Satyawan 2018.03.07 16:33 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 07.11.2017, by which arrest of the petitioner was ordered to be stayed, is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
