The learned counsel representing the parties are ad idem that in view of the judgment passed in Harnam Dass and Another v. Amritsar Improvement Trust, Amritsar and Others (Civil Writ Petition No. 18456 of 2013, decided on 23.07.2014) and Swaran Singh v. Amritsar Improvement Trust and Another and Other Connected Matters (Civil Writ Petition No. 8175 of 2012, decided on 22.09.2017), the award passed by the Land Acquisition Tribunal, Amritsar Improvement Trust, Amritsar, on 05.08.2011 is required to be set aside while remitting the matter back to the Tribunal for a fresh decision.
