iii.Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? AJAY TEWARI, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondents No. 4 to 7.

The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents. They are stated to be minor. Petitioner No.1 in support of her age proof, has placed on record extract of her Fifth Class Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) which depicts her date of birth as 23.09.1998. Petitioner No.2 in support of his age proof has also placed on record extract of his Fifth Standard Examination Certificate(Annexure P-2) which shows his date of birth as 01.08.1995. They have already moved a representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana for protecting their life and liberty. Copy of the representation is annexed as Annexure P-5. Though it is true that both the petitioners are minors, yet keeping in view the judgment passed in the case of Neelam Rani and SUNITA NAGPAL 2015.12.04 14:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity y of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-41118-2015 -2another vs. State of Haryana and others, reported as 2011(1) R.C.R. (Civil)636, this Court can not deny to give direction to the police to look into their grievance.

Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana -respondent No.2 to take an appropriate action on the said representation. Since the main case has been decided, the pending Criminal Misc. Application, if any, also stands disposed of. A copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioners on payment of usual charges.
