H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) It is stated that private respondents No. 4 to 10 had been out to grab land of the petitioners and on 24.10.2017, at about 9.00 A.M. they had assaulted the petitioners. The matter was reported to the police but no action has been taken.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to SSP, Ferozepur - respondent No.2 to look into the grievances of the petitioners, as contained in representation Annexure P-2 and then to take action so warranted by the facts and circumstances of the case, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in his office.
