The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 24.02.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-PIL-35-2026, whereby respondent was directed to decide the representation dated 24.10.2025 submitted by the petitioner. 2.
In compliance of the order dated 24.02.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-PIL-35-2026, learned counsel for the respondent has produced a compliance affidavit dated 13.05.2026 of Natha Singh, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Faridkot, along with speaking order dated 07.05.2026 (Annexure R-1), on behalf of the respondent in the Court. A perusal of the said compliance affidavit shows that order dated 24.02.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-PIL-35-2026 has been complied with.

In view of the above, since order dated 24.02.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-PIL-35-2026, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.
Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law to challenge the said speaking order dated 07.05.2026.
