Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Gurcharan Singh, informs that the petitioners were seeking transfer of the investigation of the case from respondent No.4 to any other officer/ independent agency in District Amritsar.

Learned State counsel has further informed that the said respondent has already been transferred and the investigation of the case has been handed over to Sh. Virender Singh Khosa, ACP. It is, thus, submited that the present petition has been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the grievance espoused by the petitioners before this Court, stands redressed. 3.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. The position was the same, on the last date of hearing. Hence, the statement made on behalf of the State counsel has remained uncontroverted and, thus, SATYAWAN 2023.11.16 12:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
