The present petition has been filed Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No. 2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 9. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing vehemently on the merits of the case but having failed to demonstrate any threat perception, more so, in light of the fact that petitioner No. 1 is already married to respondent No. 4 and having failed to demonstrate any steps taken by petitioner No,. 1 to take divorce from respondent No. 4, has prayed for withdrawal of the present petition at this stage with liberty to file a fresh one with better particulars detailing out the threat perception. 3.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, with the aforesaid liberty.
