The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to respondent no.2 to conduct proper and fair investigation in FIR No.85 dated 25.07.2017, under Sections 323, 326, 341, 148 & 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Kathu Nangal, District Amritsar (Rural).

No one has appeared on behalf of the petitioners. The learned counsel for the State submits that the investigation stands concluded and as many as 07, out of 16 prosecution witnesses, have already been examined.
