The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to release payment with respect to work carried out by him for the respondent along with interest @ 12% per annum.

Learned State counsel on instruction from Mr. Raj Kumar, Executive Engineer, Provincial Division-II, HR PWD, Karnal submits that competent authority would consider petitioner's claim and if any admitted liability is found, it would be discharged within three months from today. 3.
