CORAM:
HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ALKA SARIN
Present:
Mr. Sameer Sachdeva, Advocate for the petitioners. **** ALKA SARIN, J. (ORAL) Heard through video conferencing.
Prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to grant the benefit of extension in time period for completion of Refresher Course for Career Advancement and consequential benefits thereof to the petitioners at par with the Government College Teachers and similarly placed Government Aided College Lecturers as allowed in CWP No.6739 of 2014 decided on 17.01.2019 (Annexure P-11). Learned counsel for the petitioners would contend that in this regard a legal notice dated 18.12.2020 (Annexure P-14) has been sent to respondent Nos.1 and 2. However, neither any response has been received qua the same nor any decision has been taken till date. Leaned counsel for the petitioners would further contend that he limits his prayer in the present case and would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to take a decision on the legal notice dated 18.12.2020 (Annexure P-14) in a time-bound manner.
