The petitioners, who in pursuance to an advertisement dated 16.4.2018, had applied for recruitment as Constable (Male) and Constable (Female) in Haryana Police and had appeared in the written test and thereafter also appeared for physical screening test, physical measurement test and for scrutiny of documents but were not successful. 2.
The petitioners thereafter preferred the instant petition seeking issuance of a direction to the respondents to get conducted a proper verification in respect of the documents and information furnished by the selected candidates and also sought a direction to the respondents to upload complete result of the candidates with breakup of marks and also for revision of the final result pursuant to proper verification.

During pendency of this writ petition, directions were issued to the respondents to upload the detailed result of the candidates, which was accordingly uploaded. On the last date of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners informed that although the result had been uploaded but the information as regards the names and parentage of the candidates has not been uploaded.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has informed that the aforesaid information regarding names and parentage of male candidates has also been uploaded but the information regarding the female candidates is yet to be uploaded.

Ms. Shruti Jain, DAG, Haryana, learned State counsel has informed that she has instructions from the respondents that the needful for uploading of the result pertaining to the female constable shall also be uploaded positively within a period of two weeks from today with respect to the breakup and details of the marks obtained and as regards the names and parentage. 6.
Faced with the aforesaid position, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh one so as to challange the marks awarded to the selected candidates incorrectly as well as to challenge the selection of the candidates, who have been selected inter alia on the ground that their verification has not been properly conducted.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
