(Oral) The present case was registered against petitioner-Satvir Singh, the husband who was declared proclaimed offender in this case on 16.11.2011 and subsequently he appeared before the Court on 7.8.2015 and is in custody since almost four months which is not disputed by learned State counsel.

Since the petitioner has already surrendered before the authorities and the trial is not likely to be concluded in near future and in view of sufficient period of incarceration already undergone by the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that further detention of the petitioner in the present case is not warranted.
