(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct further investigation in FIR No.59 dated 29.04.2016 registered under Sections 308, 325, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Majitha, District Amritsar (Rural). Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Rashpal Singh, submits that the challan has already been presented before the trial Court and the case before the trial Court is now fixed for 12.03.2018 for arguments on framing of charge. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous. However, it will be open for the petitioner to move an appropriate application under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C. for further investigation, if so required, before the trial Court.
