Though the petitioner is not named in the FIR but during the course of investigation, his co-accused Inderpal had made a disclosure statement that he in connivance with the petitioner had stolen 20 cheques of Axis, PNB and HDFC Banks. Co-accused of the petitioner has been granted the concession of bail by this court. Adopting the principle of parity, the petitioner can be granted the concession of bail.
The petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court.
