The instant petition has been filed seeking issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to add relevant sections in FIR No.183 dated 01.08.2025 under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B of IPC (Sections (316 (2), 318(4) and 62(2) of BNS) registered at Police Station Division No.6, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer to the extent of decision his representation dated 09.01.2026 (Annexure P-4). 3.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. M.S. Atwal, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana to look into the representation dated 09.01.2026 (Annexure P-4) submitted by the petitioner and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.
