Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 219 dated 23.9.2014 under Section 336, 452, 342, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Beas, Amritsar Rural.
While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 04.12.2014:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it is a case of no injury.
Notice of motion for 19.2.2015 In the meantime, in the event of arrest, petitioner be admitted to interim bail subject to the satisfaction GURPREET SINGH 2015.02.19 16:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
Crl. Misc. No. M-41395 of 2014 -2of the Arresting Officer. He shall abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973."
Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Head Constable Harpal Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.
Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 4.12.2014, is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
