Seeking quashing of FIR capƟoned above, the peƟƟoner has come up before this Court under SecƟon 482 CrPC.

State counsel on instrucƟons from ASI Kashmir Singh submits that charges have been framed on 10.01.2020 and the same has not been challenged by the peƟƟoner. Once a judicial order has been passed framing the charges, that judicial order must be explicitly challenged.

Faced with the above situaƟon, counsel for the peƟƟoner seeks permission to withdraw the present peƟƟon. Given above, the present peƟƟon is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to challenge the charges. The Ɵme for which the present peƟƟon is pending before this Court shall not be counted for the purpose of limitaƟon. All pending applicaƟons, if any, stand disposed.
