 / %0 ,1 The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay compensation for malicious prosecution of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration that the determination of compensation would require adducing of evidence, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take recourse to the alternative remedies available to her in accordance with law.
