The applicant through the instant application under Section 5 of Limitation Act is seeking condonation of delay of 1037 days in filing the revision petition before this Court. 2.

By order dated 10.4.2018, Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Faridabad, has granted maintenance of Rs. 5000/- to the respondent. The applicant initially joined proceedings before Family Court, however, he opted to abstain from proceedings which compelled the Family Court to pass ex parte order. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant inter alia contends that applicant visited office of learned counsel in District Court in March 2023 and came to know about the impugned order. There is no intentional delay.

I have heard learned counsel for the applicant and perused the record.

The applicant is seeking condonation of delay on the sole ground that his counsel did not apprise him of his right to file revision petition before this Court. The applicant opted to abstain from Family Court when final order was going to be passed. Conduct of applicant itself speaks volumes. He is taking law as granted. He has no respect to Court of Justice and rule of law. He does not deserve leniency. There is long delay and reason advanced is lame excuse. As there is no reasonable explanation for delay, the application seeking condonation of delay deserves to be dismissed and accordingly dismissed.

As application seeking condonation of delay is dismissed, consequently, main petition is also dismissed.
