Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.95 dated 09.06.2015 under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Division No.7, Jalandhar.

Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel appeared and contested the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that the FIR in the present case has been registered on the basis of the secret information that the accused prepared fake computerized Visa stickers themselves and by showing the same to Vineet Gulati 2017.02.01 10:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-42393 of 2016 -2innocent people, grabbed huge amount from them. As per learned State counsel, two passports have been recovered from the present petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 25.06.2015. He is not required for custodial interrogation or investigation as he is in judicial custody. Nothing is to be recovered from the petitioner. He is only to face the trial. The trial of the case will take long time. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioner in custody till the disposal of the case.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, without discussing the facts in minute detail and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal/surety bonds in the sum of `40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
