The writ petitioners have filed the present writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 and 3 to protect their live and liberty from the respondent No.4 to 6. The writ petitioners have not attained the marriageable age but claim to have married on 04.03.2020.

The Deputy Superintendent, Fazilka has filed an affidavit to the effect that there is no danger to the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent No.4 to 6.
