SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (Oral) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case direction be issued to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 02.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) within a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

Mr. Jaspal Singh Guru, AAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-SSP, Gurdaspur to look into the representation dated 02.04.2025 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same in view of notification No. HOMEHM-40 40SECM/14/2025-2H4/63 dated 23.01.2025 issued by the Department of Home Affairs, Punjab, Government of Punjab (Home-4 Branch) within a period of three days from today.
