RAM CHAND GUPTA, J.(Oral) Crl.M.No.52244 of 2013 Application is allowed subject to all just exceptions. Crl.M.No.M-44303 of 2013 The present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners as they have got married against the wishes of their parents.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners will be satisfied if respondent no.2, i.e., Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, is directed to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on application, dated 26.12.2013, Annexure P5, already made to him by the petitioners.

As per averments made in the petition both the petitioners are major. Date of birth of petitioner no.1-Ajay Kumar, as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate, Annexure P1, is 20.5.1990, and date of birth of petitioner No.2- Neha Chugh, as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate, Annexure P2, is 18.10.1992. They got married on 26.12.2013, as per marriage certificate Annexure P4. Photographs of the marriage are Annexure P3.

Crl.M.No.M-44303 of 2013(O&M) -2petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2, i.e.,Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on application, dated 26.12.2013, Annexure P5, already stated to have been moved to him by the petitioners. However, it is made clear that this order will be having no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of petitioners and also on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against petitioner no.1 as per law.
