**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 72 dated 21.9.2019, registered under Sections 363/366A IPC, Police Station Bariwala, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. Vide order dated 31.7.2020, passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner was granted interim bail subject to his surrendering before the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.

On 22.9.2020, learned counsel for the petitioner informed this Court that the petitioner has surrendered before the trial Court/Duty Magistrate and has been released on interim bail. On 24.9.2020, it was pointed out by the learned State counsel that the petitioner was not cooperating with the investigating agency. On the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation on 29.09.2020 in terms of the order dated GURPREET SINGH 2020.10.29 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chadigarh

Today learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has not join the investigation despite the fact that ample opportunities were given to him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that one more opportunity may be given to the petitioner to join the investigation. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. In the present case, the petitioner was granted interim bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 31.7.2020. On 24.9.2020, another opportunity was given to the petitioner to join the investigation but still despite being given several opportunities, the petitioner has failed to comply with the orders passed by this Court and has not joined the investigation. Keeping in view the above, no ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.

The petition is dismissed.
