-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed seeking protection of life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.4 to 10. Notice of motion was issued in the said matter vide order dated 30.07.2020. Thereafter the matter has been taken up by this Court on two occasions i.e.16.10.2020 and 01.12.2020, on which dates, no one had put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners. Same is the position today. The respondent-State has filed a status report by way of affidavit of Lakhbir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Sri Hargobindpur, Tehsil Batala, District Gurdaspur wherein it is stated that Rajbir Singh, petitioner No.1 herein stands arrested on 26.09.2020 and is lodged at Central Jail, Gurdaspur. Challan has also been presented against him.

As per the reply filed, prosecutrix was recovered, however, she flatly refused to go back to her parents' home. She was then sent to Children Home Gandhi Vantia Ashram, Jalandhar where she is currently PANKAJ KUMAR 2021.01.08 16:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
