(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing respondents No.2 to 4 to produce the detenue Arshdeep Kaur @ Arshdeep, forthwith from the illegal custody of respondent No.5.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for issuance of directions to respondent No.4- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Fatehgarh Sahib, to look into the complaint dated 27.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
