This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioners vide FIR No. 240 dated 21.08.2014 under Sections 498-A & 406 IPC at Police Station Cantonment Amritsar, District Amritsar.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Amrik Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated 08.12.2014, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated 08.12.2014 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
