SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (Oral) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case direction be issued to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 04.04.2025 (Annexure P-5) within a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

Mr. Jaspal Singh Guru, AAG Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and assures the Court that necessary action will be taken on the representation dated 04.04.2025 (Annexure P-5) as per standard procedure vide notification No.HOMEHM-40 40SECM/14/2025-2H4/63 dated 23.01.2025 issued by the Department of Home Affairs, Punjab, Government of Punjab (Home-4 Branch), and be decided in next three days.
